On the occasion of the publication of number XXVII of the journal Verba Hispanica, which will be dedicated to New challenges and perspectives in the teaching / learning of vocabulary in L2 Spanish, we invite all those interested to send their proposals.
Verba Hispanica is an internationally renowned scientific journal of linguistics and literature in which original works can be published in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan or Galician. In Slovenia it is the only scientific journal in which the scientific achievements in the field of linguistics and literary studies of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America are presented. The main mission of Verba Hispanica is to disseminate and contribute to the academic and professional community unpublished research of quality and relevance. It has been published annually since 1991.
Both the abstracts and the papers received will be submitted to double-blind review in order to verify the relevance of the article within the thematic field proposed, that is, New challenges and perspectives in the teaching / learning of vocabulary in L2 Spanish, as well as to the scientific rigor of investigation. The resolution will be communicated, indicating the acceptance, rejection or possible modifications of the proposals in order to meet the established requirements.
The journal appears in the following bases: MLA (Modern Languages Association), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), ERIH PLUS, and BL Bibliographie Linguistique, REDIB, Dialnet, among others.

The abstract (150-200 words) should provide the following sections in a concise manner: delimitation of the proposed topic, review of previous research, research objectives, methodology and 5 key words.
