Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

General guidelines:

  1. The articles should be written in English and include an abstract and five keywords;
  2. Recommended length is 20.000-30.000 characters, including spaces;
  3. The references and in-text citations should be in accordance with the APA style;
  4. Authors are responsible for the English spell and grammar checks;
  5. The main submission file should be in Microsoft Word, RTF or OpenOffice document file format, with the equivalent pdf file attached in the Submission process;
  6. We accept on-line submissions only.

 

Formatting guidelines:

  1. The text should employ italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses);
  2. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end;
  3. Where available, URLs for the references should been provided.

 

Submission of a manuscript is a five-step process:

Step 1: Select the appropriate section for this submission (Research Articles/Book reviews etc. ); Check off the submission checklist (listed below); Comments for the Editor (optional);

Step 2: Upload submission file;

Step 3: Enter Metadata (Author, Title and Abstract, Keywords, References, Supporting Agencies);

Step 4: Upload supplementary file in pdf;

Step 5: Finish submission.

 

Notes:

1. There are several online APA citation tools available, for example:
Son of Citation Machine and KnightCite.

2. English abstracts and keywords will be translated to Slovene.


 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF or OpenOffice document file format.
  3. A copy of submission file in pdf format is prepared to be attached in the field "Supplementary File" in Step 4.
  4. The text adheres to the bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  6. Spell and grammar checks have been performed.
